Vision for 2020 and after is making the Walt Disney World parks into a new and refreshing horizon for its theme parks all over and Walt Disney World in Orlando is finding its share at the top of the 2020 major changes revealed at the Walt Disney World D23 Expo and announced in January, 2019. Charging forward, this is but a little taste of what's to come in the Orlando world of Disney during the next few years. With new vision, coming to Orlando is Mickey and Minnie's runaway railway. To make way for this new attraction, the Great Movie Ride closed down at Hollywood Studios in 2017. A new show for Disney Springs, Destiny expresses animation with feeling, featuring Disney characters with interaction going on between the animated characters and live performers. With a formal opening April 17, 2020, previews of Destiny begin in March, 2020. Of the many coming overhauls, the Skyliner will connect four of the hotel properties at Walt Disney World to Epcot and Hollywood Studios. The Skyliner destinations are the Pop Century resort, the Caribbean Beach resort the Art of Animation resort and the new Riviera resort. And, just in time for the 50th anniversary of Walt Disney World, one of the biggest changes is splitting the park from two lands to four. Reaching for the future, Disney creators will have taken Future World into World Nature, World Celebration and World Discovery. There's more to come. As a part of this ever developing horizon of the name of Disney in Florida, the Treasure Island Gift Shop, located at 12399 State Road 535, Orlando, FL 32836, close to Disney, offers Disney name collectible new keepsakes for family and friends to have and treasure. The creative ability to do all this is nothing new for Walt Disney World as welcomed expansion long ago became a hallmark of its ability to create community.
